In September 2014, Deutsche BekleidungsWerke Limited "DBW" was established

In order to keep abreast of the latest high fashion trends to cater for “high quality, low minimum quantity, speed to market’’ orders, the group designed a multi-level factory that would specialize in niche areas of all major apparel categories from “Woven” and “Cut & Sewn Knits” to “Sweater Knits”.

In keeping for sustainability and workers’ well-being, the new state-of-the-art factory, whose construction was completed in August 2016, was designed and engineered from the ground up with the most advanced environmentally friendly standards, which eventually contributed to attain, already from its launch date, international platinum status under the two leading Green Building Councils accreditation systems “LEED” (USA) and “LOTUS” (Vietnam) .

Being the first double platinum internationally accredited factory in Vietnam and featuring some of the most technologically advanced machinery and industrial system processes from Germany, Italy and Japan, it achieves both precision performance as well as some of the highest operational energy savings in the industry.

Moreover, its facilities were designed to meet the latest standards for sustainability and Eco-friendliness, boasting a roof top equipped with solar panels, where solar energy is harvested and a green garden that provides insulation as well as a small vegetables production, irrigated with recycled grey water, by a European type of water saving system connected also to bathrooms and washing areas.

The LED lit interior, maintained at a constant 750 lux, is air-conditioned and equipped with specially manufactured ergonomic chairs, making this a factory that cares not only about the product that leaves the facilities but also about the people that craft them.

“When you put the whole picture together, recycling is the right thing to do.”
