Introduction :

During September 2014 , the Royal Spirit Group , established Deutsche Bekleidungswerke Limited and purchased a 5000 square metre corner plot at Long Hau Industrial Zone , which is to the south of Ho ChiMinh city near the Port , and is 24 minutes from Sunshine city in the new town area of District 7 and isonly 10-15 mins from the new commercial complexes being built in Nhabe.

The Mission:

Deutsche Bekleidungs Werke Limited otherwise known as “ DBW “ is the latest jewel in the Royal SpiritGroup’s manufacturing crown.

In order to keep abreast of the latest high fashion trends to cater for “ high quality, low minimumquantity , speed to market “ orders, the group designed a multi- level factory that would specialise inniche areas of all major apparel categories from “ Woven and Cut and Sew Knits to Sweater knits from 7-18 gg “

In keeping with the Group’s visions of sustainability and worker’s well-being ,the new state-of- the-art factory , which is scheduled to open in May 2016 has been engineered to attain international platinumstatus under both the US LEED and the Vietnamese Lotus Platinum accreditation systems .

It will be the first double platinum internationally accredited factory in Vietnam and it will feature some of the most technologically advanced machinery and industrial system processes from Germany , Italy and Japan,that give both precision performance as well as some of the highest operational energy savings in the industry !

Moreover its facilities were designed to meet the latest standards for sustainability and eco friendliness, boasting both a solar roof as well as a green roof for insulation and vegetable production that is irrigated by re-cycled grey water connected to a European water saving system in bathrooms and washareas.

The LED lit interior, maintained at a constant 750 lux is air-conditioned and equipped with speciallymanufactured ergonomic chairs making this a factory that cares not only about the product that leavesthe facilities but also about the people that craft them.

The Factory :

The Factory , which is 5 storeys high covering 18,000 square metres is divided into 3 parts :-

a) Sampling and offices on the 4 th and fifth floors , to ensure a symbiotic

b) Sweaters & Sweater Laundry on the 3rd floor

c) Woven production floors on the 1st &2nd floors , with cutting and warehousing on the Ground floor .

The Development Teams:

The development team is a fully integrated unit , supported by industrial engineering teams and a CAD team equipped with the latest Gerber and Assyst software , to ensure the most cost efficient production.

When in full production towards the end of 2016 it will consist of approx 60-70 direct sampling personnel to ensure timely delivery of samples to the highest quality standards .

The Sweater Teams :

With 66 Stoll machines planned in 2016 throughout all gauges and over 100 linking personnel using Complett linking machines , the highest standards of quality and complexity of designs are envisaged.

The state of the art rainwater washing system combined with the Italian Mentasti washers , dryers and steam tables , will ensure a product not previously seen in Vietnam.

The Woven Teams :

With 36 woven sewing lines planned all of which are equipped with the latest Durkopp , Pfaff and Busche machines , we are able to cope with all complexities encountered in the high end fashionsegment.

Our pressing machines are from Veit and our automatic cutting machine is from Bullmer , ensuring a precision garment from the blade to the carton. relationship within the sampling and merchandising development groups

The Personnel:

In order to ensure that the complex is an industry leader , we have transferred industrial experts in all fields to , lead and train our local personnel . Our diverse cultural staff hail from Sri Lanka , Italy , Hong Kong , Egypt , Germany and Malta . These team leaders will train hand picked staff from universities in Vietnam and some of the best technical minds locally available .

Compliance :

We have 10 lines under various stages of training , so that from day 1 ( May 2nd 2016 ) we are able to go into production however as the new building will only be handed over June 1 st , we can only apply from that date

We have now started the compliance preparation for :- SA8000 , BSCI and Betterwork (ILO) . We hope to achieve certification in July /Aug 2016

What are we going to produce?

We are geared up to be totally flexible in our production , by the use of the latest industrial configurations and LEAN systems the factory will be able to deal with the ever changing and diverse needs of our customer’s markets .

We understand the markets and will adapt accordingly , whether it be bulk high quality garments or “speed to market “ orders .

We realise that not all orders can be in the thousands and thus we have developed a strategy to cope with small orders. We think out of the box , and realise the need for a manufacturer to understand the needs of its buyers.

Whether you want to accessorise a garment with partial welding or you wish a fully welded garment, our experienced engineers will work with your development teams to achieve some of the most unique looks imaginable.

Where are we ?

We have again chosen Ho Chi Minh as our operational base . Centred in the Long Hau Industrial Zone , which is a 70 minute drive from the international airport , or 45 minutes from District 1 .
